SaltScout does not provide medical advice and is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition, and it does not determine what sodium limit is appropriate for you. The target in the app is one you entered or one you chose from a short quiz; the quiz offers common published guideline values and is not an assessment of you. Always follow the guidance of your own clinician. Never delay or disregard professional medical advice because of something in this app.
Sodium and calorie figures come from each chain's published nutrition information at the time we checked it. Chains change recipes, portions, and menus without notice, and regional and franchise variations exist. Figures in SaltScout may be out of date or incorrect. When accuracy matters to you, confirm with the chain's own nutrition information before ordering. SaltScout is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind.
You are responsible for the sodium target you enter and for the food you choose. Use the app only for personal, non-commercial purposes. Do not attempt to access other users' data, interfere with the service, or copy the menu database in bulk.
SaltScout creates an anonymous account on your device. How data is handled is described in the privacy policy, which is part of these terms.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SaltScout and its operator are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the app, including any decision you make based on information in it. Some jurisdictions do not allow this limitation, in which case it applies to the extent permitted.
